Tips for Paulo & Bill Restaurant

Pricey, but worth every penny. This is my favorite Sunday buffet anywhere. Every thing from the coffee to the dessert is excellent and as plentiful as you want it to be. My biggest problem at Paulo and Bills is to stop eating.

You can have fresh fruit, custom cooked omelets, piles of bacon, gourmet breakfast dishes, salmon, veggies, a variety of desserts and all at a price well worth paying.

If you like buffets and enjoy making breakfast the best meal of the day the Sunday breakfast buffet will satisfy even the pickiest eaters. (Note: any meal you have here will be excellent, the Sunday breakfast buffet is just my favorite.)

Sunday brunch was a diappointment. This restaurant has definitely gone downhill. I had been to their Sunday brunch in 2003 and it was nice. I went back today in 2007 and was very disappointed. The hostess had a strange personality and was borderline rude. More importantly, the food for the Sunday brunch was mediocre. They ran out of prime rib an hour before the brunch ended and didn't bother to replenish it. We were seated at a broken table but were relocated to another one upon our request. You would think the manager would make sure tables were in working order each day, how hard can that be? And if a table is broken, then don't use it!! I would not recommend this restaurant. Kansas City has so many other wonderful options where dining out is concerned.

Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Authentic Italian cuisine is served including fried calamari, grilled scallops, Italian sausage and pasta at the restaurant with outdoor seating.

Paulo & Bill THE WORST FOOD EVER FOR THE $$$. WE HAD GOOD SERVICE BUT THE FOOD WAS VERY BAD.

THE TIGER SHRIMP AT $16.00 FOR FIVE LITTLE SHRIMP WITH NO TASTE.

WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO EAT THIS KIND OF OVER PRICED CARD BOARD.

BILL WAS $200. FOR FIVE AND NOT ONE OF US LIKE THE FOOD.

WE DIDN'T WANT THE SERVER TO FEEL BAD SO WE KEPT QUIET.

WE JUST WON'T GO BACK.

TO BAD Paulo & Bill

Disapppointed. Possibly we both ordered the wrong things... Two of us felt that our dinners were over-priced and unexceptional.

Great Brunch!. When you go to brunch, you had better be hungry! They have any kind of food you could think of and a dessert bar to match. The chocolate fountain is another big plus. Dinner is fun with energetic servers and staff and great food. I have had everything from steak to pizza there and have not been disappointed once.

Fun for everyone!. We went to Paulo & Bill's with our friends and had 2 kids between us. Not only was the food great, but the atmosphere for the kids was great. When the kids got restless, my husband took the two kids up to the pizza bar and they got to watch the guy making pizzas. He was very friendly and would give the kids the thumbs us when he had finished making the pizzas. They thought it was great and we really enjoyed eating there. The bar looks like it would be alot of fun too and I am hoping to go back for some cocktails and good food - this time without the kids!

Skip it.... Great drinks, but poor value. The homemade ravioli tastes like it came from a can. They are very proud of their sub par food, so expect to pay a lot for a disappointing experience. Don't bother telling your server if there is a problem (such as plastic in your "homemade" ravioli), managment doesn't care. So many other wonderful places to eat in KC--so skip this one!

eatoutalot. We ate at Paulo and Bill's on Friday the 13 and on Valentine's Day - the 14th! Our food and service was excellent both evenings! On Valentine's Day my wife even received a rose on the way out the door!

I think it is great that Paulo and Bill tries to take more reservations than usual on special dates such as Valentine's Day. It may be more crowded than usual, but we love the festive atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff!

Keep it up!
