view & uploadFast and honest service??? Not quite. I bought a Halo vacuum and after having it 2 months it quit picking up.. This is a $279.00 vacuum, so its not like it is a piece of junk to start with.. I take it in on 3/7 to Shawnee Vacuum and drop it off. I was told they would call me in a couple days with a estimate... On 3/17 I had not had a call back. I call them and am told, my 2 month old vacuum needs a over haul... The only thing close to good is that it will only be $39.95.. I am thinking something shady is going on 6463 Quivira.. Also beware, I was told that they do the repairs in the Gladstone Mo store not in house..

Great Experience at Shawnee Vacuum.
Stopped by Shawnee Vacuum on July 5th, not really expecting them to be open. We were pleasantly surprised to find them open and not busy. I noticed right away that there was a new owner. Previous visits to Shawnee Vacuum were uneventful, just to buy bags, belts, filters, etc.
My wife & I had been considering a new vacuum, but she was reluctant to give up her 15 year old Riccar. Before we could even say what we were looking for,
"Louie" recommended the Riccar! He showed us the latest model and let us both "test drive" the unit over faux cat fur and other particles.
Louie was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He made us a great deal on the new Riccar, included the accessory kit and even tuned up "Old Blue" at no charge.
We highly recommend Louie and Shawnee Vacuum.

okay...so i took my 12 year old Simplicity in to get serviced, belt, stuff like that...just wasn't doing what i wanted it to do and in turn my house was becoming a a mess...so i bring it in to Shawnee Vaccuum...I was suprised to see a different person greet me as i was lugging my vaccuum into the shop.
I told him what the problems were and he took the time to show me a Carpet Pro Vaccuum which is made by the Fuller Brush Company...went through everything with me....even told me it was so strong it would suck my guinea pigs into the vaccuum with the power it had (that was sooo funny)...anyway, he also showed me a few other vaccums, commenting on the pros and cons of each one....I do appreciate the fact that Louis did not treat me like i didn't undertsand the mechanisms of a vaccum and he didn't try to sell me the most expensive on in the store. He custom fitted the type of vaccum i needed for my household...good customer service, he had several phone calls with his suppliers while i was there and had orders to fill but spent his time explaining things to me. I wasn't planning on buying a vaccuum today, however i have bought about 4 cheapie vaccuums from Wally world and they lasted all but a few months, so in essence i spent a lot in vaccuums that didn;t do anything but make a good landfill product. Louie let me trade in my vaccuum and he also gave me the 60 dollar extention hose (its sooo long i can have the vaccuum in my living room and vaccuum up the thirteen stairs to the upstairs, and i have a fairly large home) and brushes for free!!! Great customer service.I did'nt realize that the previous owner had left and i saw some negative comments made during his ownership, but Louie is determined to correct any negative feelings about this shop and do his customers right...what was even funnier about this whole experience is that when I saw his business card and asked him where he grew up, it seems we went to the same grade school in the 70's...what a small world, huh????so if anyone from St. John the Baptist Catholic school on Brooklyn needs a vaccuum, come visit Louie Inzerillo and share your school memories while you're there!!!Id buy a vaccuum from him again, but i really think this may be the last vaccuum i'll ever need!!!!!
Excellent service and EZ on the back!. Shopping for a sweeper we stopped in Shawnee Vacuum..because they are close by. "Louie" was down to earth, no hype, very generous with his time and showed us a great sweeper - the Riccar. We bought it, took it home and found it to do all he said it would do plus.. He did not know that back problems were one of our issues.. The Riccar was very EZ! Quiet and we like the deep cleaning. Worth every penny! Good luck to Shawnee Vacuum and Louie.
Exceptional Customer Service!!. Just 3 days before Christmas and my (expensive) Dyson developed a big problem. I called Shawnee Vacuum and was asked to just bring it in. I did so, waiting patiently while Mr. Inzerillo waited on another customer in providing a quote for repair of a commercial vacuum. When my turn came round, he gave me the same outstanding customer service as he had the (commercial) client before me. He ably fixed my $400 vacuum on the spot and charged me only $10 -- amazing! If you (like me) have decided it's time to repair instead of replace, this is a GREAT place to get parts, another vacuum, or have older and/or newer vacuums repaired - and with a smile, too! Mr. Inzerillo is very knowledgeable, competent, and HONEST ... if you want to return to QUALITY customer service, the likes of which you haven't seen in decades - believe me, this is the place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Shawnee Vacuum. I read recent reviews on Shawnee Vacuum and decided to give the new owner a shot. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. Louis has a professional, courteous demeanor, does quality work, and turned around my vacuum cleaner in a day. My Dirt Devil has a new life!
NEW OWNER @ Shawnee Vacuum-Finally. Louie is the new owner and is a great tech and very helpful. He had to totally refurbish my Hoover carpet shampoo machine. I brought it to him late in the day this past Saturday. He had it running and looking like new Monday, just as he promised. I had purchased it from the previous owner, but it never seemed to work right. Louie even had me run it to make sure I was satisfied with his work. Now, I am very satisfied.

I dropped off my vaccum ... it stopped picking up stuff so I thought instead of buying a new one I try this store. Left it off within 20 minutes.....guy at store called me , to give me details and timeline.
One hour later . I came back , vaccum was fixed and very quality inexpensive service repair.... I will be back to this store for bags and stuff.
