Bring a lunch if you plan on ordering from this Sonic.
My husband went to this Sonic to get lunch for him, me, and the kids. After he got the order placed for him and me, the kids finally called to say what they wanted.
Instead of bringing the order in a reasonable period of time, they took about 15 minutes to bring the first part of the order. Lied to him at least 3 times about getting out the second part of the order and finally decided to bring it out a full 45 minutes (yup that's 45 minutes) AFTER they brought out the first part of the order.
In the meantime, 2 separate cars, with kids in tow, had pulled up, ordered, had their food delivered and eaten their food.
Bottom line is: Go someplace else. These folks don't have a clue. They can't get the food out in a timely manner. Can't seem to figure out that 1 hour is too long to be waiting at a "fast" food place and didn't even offer to replace the OBVIOUSLY cold food that they brought 45 minutes earlier. DON'T GO HERE. IT'S AWFUL.

Retro-outfitted servers deliver burgers, malts and sandwiches to your car at this '50s-style drive-in chain..
In Short
Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.
