yay happy hour. The food is fantastic and appetizers only 5 bucks during happy hour! The veggie pizza is my favorite. Try the huge long island iceteas, they are excellent. This is one of my fav afterwork hang out bars. MUCH better than the other "afterwork" chains like Fridays. The only reason I didn't give this place a higher rating is because the staff can be rude and it can take a while to get waited on. Not everyone working there is bad but some nights a grumpy waitress or waiter can really destroy the mood.

Considered a founding father of American casual dining, Houlihan's transformed its once-kitschy decor and meat-and-potatoes menu into a contemporary restaurant serving eclectic cuisine. Geared toward a slightly more upscale crowd, warmer colors and modern art adorn the walls, while Indie rock tunes and a patio leading to a walk-around bar remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore. The globetrotting menu juxtaposes classic burgers and wings with innovative selections like tuna wontons and herb-cheese stuffed mushrooms.

avoid weekends. We have been going to Houlihan's for a long time. We usually go to this location. But lately, we have received bad service and bad food. One evening, my husband and I went for dinner there. His rosemary chicken was over cooked, his mashed potatoes had hard crispy chunks in it. As the manager watched my husband go to the bathroom he comes over to ask about the food (obviously he didn't want to ask the person that ordered the bad meal). he didn't ask if we wanted another meal or a refund, he just apologized and walked away. Another time, we went in for their mini desserts, it was a "sit yourself" at the bar area. We sat there for almost 30 min until someone came up to ask if we were even helped. after he asked, we waited another 15 min for anyone to come by to ask what we wanted to order and drink. We haven't been back since.
