I did enjoy the employees and the owner when I would go into the store. They were always incredibly nice and friendly and would be willing to talk to you about comics or whatever else.
My only real problem was with my subscription. After over a year's worth of issues, I'd only managed to get the right items ONCE. This was after continuously (yet politely) reiterating which comics and how many issues of each I wanted.
Finally, I emailed them with the exact subscription order in hopes that having it in writing from me would alleviate any confusion or misunderstandings. The biggest offense wasn't that my subscription was wrong again, but rather that they never once acknowledged that I'd emailed about the subscription or at least that they'd corrected it (let alone an apology or a promise to correct the error in the future).
Although I loved the staff, I just can't go back. I now get my subscriptions through a website and the discount I get from them for all the books I'm ordering pays for the shipping costs. I've NEVER had an incorrect order yet.
