Great food and service. I've been dining here for years and there food is great, the service is excellent, and the price is fairly reasonable for Chinese in the Johnson County area.
place have been changed an ownership. I assume citysearch did'nt know the place have been changed new ownership. I think the company should make adjustment and post the right information on it's site.
Better than PF Changs, 1/4 the price.
I was in overland park shopping with my wife and i got on my blackberry and searched for a good Chinese place and these reviews came up.
amazingly enough we happened to be right there, it was a Sunday and there was only us and another couple there so i assumed that the negative review was accurate and boy howdy i was wrong!
Slap yo momma this place is good and authentic and economical. My wife got egg drop soup and lettuce wraps for her meal, usually an appitizer and a diet coke. I got egg drop soup and decided i wanted some wraps too, so we ordered two appitizers and then i got some kind of spicy beef strips and steamed rice. Everything was great and big portions but i would reccomend if you like hot stuff to ask them to kick it up a knotch. it all reminded me of PF Changs. before the meal the hostess brought us some sort of marinated cucumbers that were very good and since my one place was enough to feed both of us i had her box the rest and she added more rice for no charge.
Not the same. I used to go to this place all the time. But since the change of management, the food is just not the same. I no longer recommend this place to my friends. Disappointing.
Reliably Good. My wife and I eat here at least once a month. We get the Sizzling Rice Soup (with shrimp instead of chicken) and Bo Bo Platter. Terrific soup and appetizers. I highly recommend this nice local Chinese diner.
Best Chinese in Overland Park. Amazing Sesame Chicken. Amazing General Tso's Chicken. Amazing Lo Mein. Amazing Crab Rangoon. You see where I'm going here; everything is simply amazing.
Best Chinese Restaurant in Metro Area- Five Stars. The best chinese restaurant in town. Bo Lings hasn't got the quality anymore that Chinese Palace consistently exhibits. And PF Changs is a Chain! This is locally owned and operated and every time the food is excellent! Can be very romantic; cloth tablecloth, cloth napkins, intimate. Service is always top notch and they pay attention to little delights and extras. I am soooooo critical but this is the best chinese restaurant in town - hands down the best.
best quality chinese food and excellent service. Best chinese food I ever had, Their kan shao shredded beef number 34 on the menu is one of my favorite dish, it's shredded beef lightly coated and with litlle vegetable in a sweet & spicy (little) glaze brown sauce Ooh it's good stuff best in town no other place can compare to them, not even Bo-ling. The owner I spoke is a very nice person and does not like to open second location becuse one person cannot watch over two location at same time and would like to keep as a neighborhood restaurant. You have to go try there place, It's the best. Excellent food, service and very clean place lots of other choices on the menu you can pick. I'm telling you it's the best.
easy to find, great service, good food. I'm new to the area so I haven't been to other chinese places but I was impressed by this one. It's a bit more expensive than I'm used to for Chinese food, but the quality was excellent. Highly recommend the beef dishes. Also the hostess/order taker person (for take out) spoke English very well, which is a plus.
Excellent Hunan. I had the best Hunan I have had in a very long time. I really like the Chinese Palace but my wife will not good back. She found the ladies restroom to smell like a sewer and was very dirty. I did not personally use the restroom so I cannot verify her remarks.
