This place is horrible!. Some friends and I went to The Peanut for a Friday night drink. It was the first time any of us had ever been there. While there, we played some music on the jukebox, nothing crazy, a little Elvis, some Hank William Jr. and some Johnny Cash... People were dancing..everything was good. Then, an intoxicated man who may work there or maybe he is a regular, not sure, but he decided to have the staff skip all of our songs ($5 worth) and then he played a bunch of rap music..which is fine, whatever, not the point- and the place cleared out. A bouncer then came to our table to tell us that our music wasn't welcome in their bar. I couldn't believe it! I've never been treated so poorly at an establishment where you are supposed to be having a good time! Then the man who had our songs skipped began to yell at us from the bar as if trying to start a fight and the bouncers and bar tender did nothing!

I was not at all impressed with the service, not even counting this event, and we saw almost 2 other fights almost break out in the hour we were there. I would not recommend this place if you are wanting to relax or have fun on a Friday night!

Maybe I caught it on a bad night?. Went here once for some late-night drinking... Service was okay. Drink prices were okay. Nothing was particularly impressive. Then I went into the restroom. Not quite as bad as the one out of Trainspotting, but there was fluid (hopefully just water) standing in puddles on the floor with ripped out Maxim pages floating in them. It smelled like a slaughterhouse?literally. I haven't been back and hopefully never will.
