Just had a Lunch there. They have vegetarian and Non-veg separation and Have Chicken Tikka lying in the vegetarian section with the name of Paneer Korma. I showed it to Manager, he immediately apologized and took the name off from there, but left the dish in vegetarian section. The Food Quality is very so poor and being an Indian I cannot recommend this to any Indian. For American it may be okay since they can not understand how the good Indian food is like.This place also has very poor service. I will not recommend to any one.

Malai Kofta was disgusting (kofta patties were burnt), the chicken korma was bland & boring, the nan was overly burnt, and the veg pakoras were just a pile of crumbs!

Basically a Mc Indian junk meal.

Hey Ruchi owner, stop serving nasty food.

BAD service. Terrible service. I wouldn't want to go there ever again. The food isn't exactly fresh, and the waiters/owner never smile. Not that smile really is the deal breaker. The deal breaker was the owner's abrupt refusal to give me a lid for the tea i wanted to take with me to go. Come on...I ask the guy if he has a 'to-go' cup or a 'lid' for the chai. He instantly with his little bitty broke english and indian accent says 'no go, drink here, no lid, drink here'. I am thinking 'this isn't what customers expect and what the restaurants deliver'. The chai isn't worth $5 that I was ripping him off from. That isn't enough: my friend paid for the food already. The fellow thought we were running away without paying the bill. He walks behind us to see who we walk out with to ensure his $20 aren't running away!

Come on...a little customer service would be nice. If you can't do it well, hire some one who can!

BAD SERVICE!!. They are indians but they dont know how to provide service for their indian customers! They are very racist agaist them.

GOOD FOOD, GOOD SERVICE. I've going to ruchi for past ten years , and they have very good food , good service, we went there for aniverciry 12th buffet , there were alot of people waiting , and I take my family to eat and they have buffet, but my family like to order from the menu , and I talked to the owner and he said that there's no problom we can order from de menu and that's what we did, we love the food the service was good we did'nt have any probloms , ruchi is a very good restaurant to eat ,i dont think they dont have to write theire won reviews run restaurent they are in bussines past 12 years what i think .

Horrible..... food and service. This may be a co-incident. I generally do not like to write bad about any cuisine as it is my personal experience. Being a very well known figure in the society most of the restaurant people know me. A few days back I was there with my family and we found the food quality has gone so bad that we had to leave midway stating that we had an urgent call. I do not know if it was a conincidence that someone else by the name of Venkat came there and relished it, but trust me we really did not like the food because of several reasons:-

1) Half cooked Nans(I feel sad to consider those nans also), 2) Greasy food with stale smell etc.

But again it is my opinion and should not be confused. I personally feel that most of the reviews on this site are done by Ruchi only to show up as a nice rated place. The worst part is that the owner likes to talk and laugh at other restaurants. Some how not my class.

IF YOU GET CONVINCED BY REVIEWS LOOK HOW THEY HAVE MANIPULATED THE RATINGS IN 2008 TO SHOW THAT THEY ARE THE BEST. BAD JOB GUYS

Awesome quality. "I love Ruchi Indian Restaurant. The food is awesome. It provides a small intimate atmosphere and exceptional service. I never had a dull moment, and the food is exceptional. I would most definitely rate this restaurant #1 for Indian cuisine.The best place to enjoy the food with friends. Cut mirchi,Chicken tikka masala,ruchi special biryani and nans were really awesome."

Best Indian Restaraunt in kansas city. I am new to united states and i'am little bit worried about the Indian food.This Friday my roommates took me to ruchi by seeing an Indian restaurant i felt very happy and rushed eagerly to have buffet, by seeing all the items i really worried about money but its very reasonable.I really thought like i was in India and tasting the Hyderabad briyani... yummy its very tasty i din't really excepted the Indian food would tastes like heaven in united states.I am very happy this is going to be my favorite Indian restaurant in u.s........Its very rich in quality and quantity

Horrible place - Don't ever go here. I have been to this place atleast 3 times. Every time I am more disappointed. Food here is neither south indian not north indian. IT is inbetween so it has no taste at all. Buffet is tasteless but expensive. You will end up paying $13 per person for nothing. It is not worth it. This is the worst food I ever had in my life.

Best Indian Restaurant in Kansas. I have been Ruchi so many times till now, but I never had a problem with food taste and service as like some reviews show, rather I have been having awesome experience since last 7 years.

The ingredients being used for the preparation having good quality, when I compare to the others Indian restaurants that I have visited.

Finally its been Excellent and FANTASTIC since so many years
