no pride-

ate at LBS wed eve--I have been associated with the restaurant industry for over 20yrs-so my expectations are abit higher when I dine out with my family/friends- I EXPECT to be treated like I would if I served someone at my home, Unfortunately some establishments do not have that same attitude-

1) our server was s l o w--we were not greeted for over 5 minutes--no sense of urgency

2) food service was extremely slow and when we did get our food-presentation was weak and food was cooked incorrectly.-when food was sent back-and recooked to specifications-was the same piece-just dumped back on the plate--vs fresh piece and no manager came out to apologize.

3) the restaurant was dirty-floors were not bisseled- IHOP takes more pride in cleanliness than they do.

I felt embarrassed for the couple we were with who recommended the establishment--I would not go there again--

with todays gas prices-people will cut down on going out to dine (some will) and customer service will make or break restaurants--unfortunately some establishments just do not care..That will prove to be detrimental in their customer base.

good food but BAD SERVICE AND HIGH $$ / BAD POLICYS FOR SIDE FOOD / EXTRAS

most of the people are nice, have had three trips here. food is good but every time the service is slow. food came out in 22 mins first time, about average or just below. wasnt super busy. but had to wait for the check because the server took a 15 min. break. next trip we got the wrong order and took the cooks 35 mins extra to get the right order. so if you have lots of time to WASTE, great place to eat. in a hurry you might want to try some place else.

Horrible Service in OP KS

My colleague and I arrived at 11:40 on a Friday there were a few at the bar and two booths occupied on the inside and a table of people on the patio. We were promptly asked for our drinks and they came out in a reasonable time. Then they took our order and it took over 30 minutes to come out with a few sides and a garden salad. The cottage cheese was warm and had a bit of an odor and the other order was completely wrong. How do you confuse chicken taco salad for chicken nachos? We waited another 15 minutes and the chicken salad was never brought out. Then we had to grab another server to get out check and it took 8 more minutes for anyone to come out and day they were sorry and take care of the rest of the bill. Please keep in mind that it was now 12:35 and there were very few people inside and still only 5 tables outside filled. Makes me wonder how they cope when they are busy...or maybe as bad as the service is that is as busy as they get. But I'm back at work and hungry. I don't know where I'm going to dinner but I know where it will not be ever again.
