Lunch Doesn't Get Better in KC

I've been eating at the Caboose for over 20 years and I have never been disappointed. We took our kids there for the first time recently & never heard one complaint about the absence of a toy in the kids meal! The sandwiches are hot, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The decor does leave a bit to be desired, but dump some hot cheese on your cup of fries & get over it.

• Pros: Value, Speed, Fresh Food
• Cons: Stale atmosphere

HORRIBLE

I have been to this place once and only once. Will not go back again. It should be called Chartoose Ca Poops! What are they putting in these fresh, hot sandwiches! Help us all please.

Great cheesesteak sandwiches

I've been eating here for 20 years. The food is fantastic -- from the great sandwiches to the skin-on fries and tiger sauce. Make no mistake, it's a medium to fast food place, not EBT's or Plaza III, but I HIGHLY recommend it.

• Cons: Not exactly high-end
