BEST SUSHI in KC!!!. My husband and I tried this restaurant about two years ago and have been going back approx. 1x / week ever since! The sushi is AMAZING - so fresh, so moist. We've tried other places in the area - nothing compares. We def. recommend giving it a try. With the prices and excellent service, you're not wasting your time!

Terrific Japanese Steakhouse. If you are a fan of Japanese Steakhouse fare, the Hikari is the best secret in Overland Park. It's located just off Metcalf at 91st Street. This restaurant is one of my family's favorite spots. We've had a great time without fail.

For special occasions such as when out of town visitors arrive, we frequently will head to the Hikari.

My Favorite. This is the best place in town to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!Everyone is very nice and the food is great! We have been to all the jap. steak houses around and this is the best by far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Place!. The first time I went to Hikari's, I was a little surprised at how low-key the place was and how difficult it was to find. However, after one bite of my food I realized that I was hooked. We have been back several times and always enjoy ourselves there. The staff is super-friendly, your glass never goes empty, and somehow the chefs always make us laugh. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
