a VERY loyal patient!

I have been seeing Dr. Tahman just over 2 years now. He is very compassionate & takes the time to make sure you are going to be ok. Took a few visits to get my meds adjusted right- but now I feel great! In the beginning, I do remember waiting a bit longer than I would've like to- but I have to remember- it's not like this is a dentist office- he may be late because the person who had an appointment an hour before mine was in a crisis situation, etc. and now he's struggling to catch up... I know I've been that patient before. Now I'd say on average i wait about 15-25 minutes after my appt time. My advice- just come right at your scheduled time-don't come early! Hopes this helps . . .
- Pros: takes the time during crisis!
- Cons: avg wait time 20min
Great Doctor, not real friendly staff

I have personally been seeing Dr. Huk for several years. HE is great!! Attentive and the one doctor to finally get my mediactions right. My son who is ADHD also sees this Dr. He is now getting straight A's and thriving! we have played with several meds and the Dr. always asks what I want to do. When they change the medication, you have to follow up 6-8 weeks and the visit is $90 for 15 minutes. They often run behind, even in the morning. I have made more than 1 complaint about receptionists and how rude they are. They are no longer there. If you are going to be working in this type of office, you need to be kind and respectful of the patients!! I highly recommend Dr. Huk and think he has saved me and my child several times!!
- Pros: ambience, Dr. Huk, feel he is sincere
- Cons: wait time, length of time to get an appt, receptionists
They're all about the money, not the patient

My son was a patient of Dr. Brown's. After meeting with him for 10 min, the doc diagnosed ADD. Prescriptions were written without even interviewing the child. After meeting with school counselors, teachers and reading specialists, I do agree with his flimsy diagnosis. After returning there month after month, usually spending 45-60 min in the waiting room, the doc finally said we could got to the GP to get monthly refills. He said his file would be sent so the doc would have all the info. They have nothing and have said we need to come in for yet another $75 medication visit before they will sent the info. They will not leave refill scripts at the front counter, instead, you must spend $75 before they will pull out the rx pad.
