First timers...Process of Making a hair color appointment -

First schedule a Hair Consultation

Then schedule a separate appointment including a 3 week wait until you can actually have anything done.

At least they let you know it before trying to schedule any of the appointments.

Xiphium Salon is overpriced and overrated

Give me a break. When I read this I can tell hautechick is Vilma Subel herself. Vilma - you are not that good honey. We all know making money is more important to you than pleasing your clients or treating people well. This salon is hyped up to be a lot better than it is. The stylists that work for vilma have no talent. Further, the more experienced stylists - such as Helena and others - have all left due to Vilma being such a tyrant. And if you are a customer with a problem or complaint - watch out - Vilma and her minions will get you! Instead of working to satisfy you, they will treat you badly. This place, while ok looking from the outside, is infected by a group of gossipy, low talented people who aren't worth the prices they charge. Go to Westport or Midtown.

Xiphium salon - one of the best in KC metro!

I came across this post (below) trashing my favorite salon. There is no way we can be talking about the same salon because Xiphium Salon at Town Center plaza has had the same staff for AGES and they are extremely professional and knowledgeable, in my opinion.

Vilma, the owner, is my personal stylist and she is amazing to me!

This gal knows her stuff. She is patient, attentive and kind and you can tell that the staff loves her too.

Oh, the head massages! What a treat! I've had salons rub my head as they wash it. This is different. Essential oils massaged into your scalp by a Xiphium pro is a few minutes of heaven!

I had my unruly hair cut and styled by Vilma and now get constant compliments about how beautiful and flowing it is. Finally, a cut that fits my face shape and my personality

Christina gave me amazing highlights, further accenting the fabulous hair cut. I've never been so happy about my hair EVER!

Then to finish up the experience you get a little make up touch up so that you're fresh and ready to present your new look to the world.

I highly recommend Xiphium if you want fabulous service and a fantastic "do"!
