I have been going to Whitney at Rumors for about 5 years and I wouldn't trust ANYONE else with my hair! I'm constantly receiving compliments! She always does an amazing job on color/highlights and cuts, never fails!

If you are looking for a GREAT stylist, Whitney is your girl!

Good Stylists but Terrible Service. The service (or lack of service) I experienced at Rumors Salon leaves a lot to be desired.

I contacted Rumors with questions and asking for an appointment confirmation all to no avail. It doesn't help to leave a message because no one will ever get back to you.

The salon itself is nice but simple inside. The front desk staff always appear to be harried and in disarray. Perhaps this is why I never get a response back. The salon is one that rents out booths to individual stylists which means there's no sense of 'team spirit'. No one is friendly with the exception of your own stylist.

A Stylist that Listens to what you want, and does it!. I'm one of those girls that hopped from stylist to stylist because eventually after a few cuts, they would not cut or color my hair the way I wanted it done.

I found my Solution... Corey Rhea! About 6 years ago Corey started cutting my hair, when i asked for a trim that's what I got, not 4 inches taken off. When I wanted something diffrent she was able to do that as well. I've gone from long "Kardashian" type hair to now a spohisticated bob. My color has gone from too blonde (thanks to the "other" stylist that didnt listen to me), to the "hint" Burgundy, to a nice NATURAL highlight & Low Light. And every time my color choices change Corey is able to make it look perfect.

In the 6 years i've been going to Corey there has not been 1 time i've been dissatisfied with her service. I never feel like i'm just another appointment to her, I never feel as though she's in a rush to get me done. I have had more compliments on my hair than ever. This bob i'm now sporting is amazing, it's classy and sassy all in one!. I have two teenage daughters that are now going to her (and we all know how picky and important it is to have their hair perfect). I made the mistake 2 years ago taking my daughter to one of those walk in places and they "trimmed" my daughters bangs, needless to say they trimmed them the wrong way and never again will I go to anyone other than Corey. I have referred several clients to Corey and not one has been dis-satisfied.

I also love that Corey is continually educating herself with the most up-to date styles, cuts, and color by going to New York and Chicago for classes. Her hairdressing skills are beyond my expectations every time. I can't imagine anyone else touch mine or my dauthers hair! (They are cheerleaders of course they have to have perfect hair)

I would recommed anyone going to Corey!

Overpriced and poor availability. I have been Corey Rhea's client for almost a year. The shop has come under new management and the salon's hours have changed and prices have gone up. I cannot afford $150 for haircut, highlights, and blow dry (plus tip!). I love their product lines: Kevin Murphy and Bumble and Bumble. I am so disappointed in the shop's changes with their new owner.

Last time I went in, my stylist, the owner (Carol), and the receptionist all pushed product on me. I picked up a SMALL travel size shampoo after being pushed into buying something since it was 15% off. While I was checking out, the receptionist asked the manager right in front of me if I could have a large bottle that was reserved for another customer...without asking if I wanted it. Of course the owner looked and me and said, "Of course she can have it!" I felt pushed into buying this bottle that was about $10 more than I wanted to spend.

It used to be the best salon in the metro. I love Corey's abilities with cutting, coloring, and styling...but it's way too much of a financial burden for me.

PS - yes they have a 15% off all products week (first week of the month) and a punch card rewards program BUT it's only valid for product. I suggest checking eBay for shampoo before buying from the salon!

Love my hair cut!. Had my hair cut by Rachel. She did an amazing job! Love the way she textured it with a razor and certain techniques. Plus she's pretty cute too. I'd recommended her and the salon.

Great cut and color. My hair cut and highlights turned out great. The products that Kailee used on my hair made it soft and smell great. All of my girlfriends at work love Rumor's and even the guys I work with send their wives to the salon. You must go!

Best stylist in town. I just had the most amazing tranformation in my hair... I went into Rumors and talked with the stylist Heather about how my lifetyle is..what I do for a living, what I do with my hair,ect. She gave me the best haircut I have ever had, all I have to do is dry it put a little spray in it and it looks great all day!! I have also never had shine in my hair like this - especially after a hilite..Rumors is amazing and Heather is a rockstar!
