Great place. Very enjoyable. Lots of TVs, very good food (known for burgers), cold beer, family friendly bar and grill.

UGGGH! Never Again!. Dinner at Johnny's Tavern last night ranks as one of the top 5 WORST restaurant (and I use that term loosely here) I have ever had. The food was mediocre, there were a lot of little kids running around unsupervised and screaming, and the service was so very bad that I can not even begin to describe it here. Suffice it to say that I left a ONE CENT tip, something I have only done one other time in my entire life. I wish I had never gone to Johnny's Tavern and I will never go back, not even if it were the last restaurant on the face of the EARTH!

Very much a neighborhood bar where the locals don't mind if you drop in for a drink..
In Short
It's nothing special in and of itself, but there's something about the people here that give this place a friendly, low-key vibe that makes for a relaxing evening. There is pool and dart--and it's especially easy to get sucked into multiple games of NTN Trivia, where you compete against people in the bar as well as across the country. There's plenty of space, including booths for smaller get-togethers and long tables if you have a larger entourage; drinks are reasonably priced for the budget-conscious.
