Exceptional Service. Nolte's helped me find the perfect mother of the bride dress. I was given undivided attention during the process of selecting my dress for my daughter's wedding. I felt like I was their number one priority even on a day when I just walked in to their bridal store with no appointment.

I would highly recommend this store for anyone wanting personalized service. Outstanding!

Nolte's for personalized attention. I had a great experience at Nolte's. I did not have an appointment and had just come from a different bridal shop feeling discouraged after 2 hours of trying on dresses as I just couldn't find what I was looking for my second wedding. At Nolte's, I selected a few special occasion dresses and was shown into a nice, roomy dressy room with a large mirror and good lighting. The young sales gal, Ana, quickly picked up on what i was looking for, made a few suggestions that were spot on- , shoes, accessories, everything. It was a great experience and such a relief to have someone whose style suggestions matched perfectly to what I was looking for. I recommend the shop for an intimate and personalized experience.

I went to Noltes to find my graduation dress and there are many guidelines that have to be followed (including color, straps, etc.). The consultants were great and made sure I ended up with a dress I loved, that also followed the guidelines. It's helpful that they provide someone for alterations and do them in the store. They will customize the dress exactly to what you want and help you make decisions when you can't decided what you like best. Although the sizing they ordered me originally was incorrect, I have really enjoyed my experience there and will maybe go back for my wedding dress one day!

great bridal shop!!. Have looked at 2 other stores for bridesmaid dresses and found this one to have the best selection by far. Lots of great dress designers and very organized to make it easier to find the type of dress you wanted. The service was great. The environment was cozy and relaxed. The dressing rooms were roomy and clean. Will be coming back to hopefully narrow down the dress selection from 5 to 1!!

Best Bridal Shop Ever!. Nolte’s bridal is by far the best bridal shop in the Kansas City Metro area. I have gone to many other bridal shops around the Kansas City metro area and nothing has come close to Nolte’s. The personalized and genuine customer service is rare. I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone was very helpful. I wish that I had gone to Nolte's sooner, I would have loved to buy my dress from them. They helped me to find a rehearsal dinner dress in no time. Each person there was very attentive in helping me to find a dress, even though they were close to closing time. I didn't feel rushed at all. What a great experience. Go here for your wedding dress!

Easiest Part of the Wedding Planning!. It literally took me under an hour to walk into Nolte's and walk out with my dream dress. This bridal boutique is the kind of family owned place that makes the whole process completely unintimidating. Donna was fantastic and obviously well-seasoned in the bridal business. Everyone was very professional and yet warm! Donna even gave me a hug on my way out the door. All this and I even stayed about $500 under my budget even after adding a sash and jewelry to the bill. The staff is helpful, pays attention to what you want and isn't out to sell you the most expensive dress in the store. I truly felt they just wanted me to love my purchase and my experience! Bravo Nolte's, you ladies nailed it!!!

Worst Wedding Experience. Nolte's was the absolute worst part of my wedding. My dress arrived 4 weeks late, and it was several sizes too small. What you need to know about Nolte's before you buy a dress there, is that THEY DO NOT HAVE ALTERATIONS! They have one woman who comes a couple of times weekly to do alterations, but she doesn't work for Nolte's. So if your dress doesn't fit, Nolte's will NOT care. The woman who comes to Nolte's to do alterations kept insisting that my dress fit correctly, and that "not being able to breathe" was a part of the "suffering" that I must endure while wearing a wedding dress.

Mrs. Nolte then came and admitted that it was way too small. The tailor insisted she couldn't fix it, but Mrs. Nolte brushed that off and told us that she believed in the tailor.

I called the tailor a couple of days later and she nonchalantly said she wasn't going to have time to fix the dress. 3 weeks before my wedding, and nobody bothered to tell me. Next Nolte's recommended I take it to a plaza tailor. When I went to get my dress from Nolte's to take it to the tailor, they refused to let me take the dress without paying for the remaining balance.

That plaza tailor is another story in itself, but bottom line, SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DO WEDDING DRESS ALTERATIONS. She said she didn't know how to do a bustle, and if she tried, it would look "sloppy." I called Nolte's to double check that this plaza tailor in fact did work with wedding dresses, and they insisted that they use her often, which I later learned from the tailor that according to her, she hadn't worked with Nolte's much.

The tailor messed my dress so badly; it was a complete disaster. She also had 2 dogs in her store, which might explain why the bottom of my dress was turning black slowly.

My florist recommended a place to get my bustle done, so I decided I would take my dress no matter what it looked like, because every time I would go to the tailor, it looked worse. After two weeks of this nightmare, I called Nolte's and said that my wedding was next week, and I NEEDED solution. The person on the phone, Brandy, said she'd tell Mr. Nolte and have him call me back. I also asked if they could please help clean my dress, because it was black on the bottom. They said that it wasn't their responsibility to clean dresses, but they'll try to spot clean it.

In the meantime, I paid the tailor at the plaza her money, because I couldn't deal with her anymore. I took my dress to the new tailor. When she saw my dress, she was shocked! She told me she stayed up until 3am that night fixing my dress, because there was no way she was going to let me walk down the aisle in that.

After the new tailor fixed my entire dress, I realized that it was 4 days later, and no one from Nolte's had called me back, even my wedding was a mere week away. They didn't know that I had taken my dress elsewhere. So they let 4 days pass by the week before my wedding, and didn't have the professionalism to try to help me find a solution. I decided to call them back, and Brandy told me that she hadn't told Mr. Nolte to call me yet, and she's sorry she was busy with other things. No one from Nolte's ever reached out to me to see what happened with my dress, or to see if I had even fixed it.

Not to mention, that throughout this whole ordeal, they took no responsibility for the size being wrong, and insisted that I had picked my own size. Nolte's claims that all of their customers choose their own sizes, and that they're not responsible. If you're not able to help customers pick sizes, or to provide alterations, then what exactly do you do???

My vendors all said that they had heard horror stories like this about Nolte's and that they weren't surprised.

This is the FIRST review I have ever done, but Nolte's almost ruined my wedding. They made NO attempt to help, and seemed very uninterested once I had paid. Stay far away!

Wedding dress Wonderland. I highly recommend Nolte's Bridal for all brides in search of their wedding dresses. I spent four months going to just about every salon in town trying on 15-20 dresses an appointment . I struggled with inattentive salespeople and one even told me that there was no dress for me.

A friend recommended Nolte's Bridal. I decided to give the salon a try. Things could not get any worse.

The moment I walked into the salon the sales people were very friendly to not only me but also my friends accompanying me. Ashley listened and looked at a few pictures I brought to the appointment. She pulled beautiful dresses that I actually liked. I left the appointment with a few great dresses in mind, but I loved the dress in the picture. A few days later I called Ashley and inquired about the dress I liked in the picture. She was able to arrange for the vendor to ship the dress to the store so I could see it in person. Long story short, that was the dress. Thank you Ashley for your fantastic service!

Nolte's Bridal. Nolte’s bridal is by far the best bridal shop in the Kansas City Metro area. You will not experience anything like the customer service Nolte’s provides. I have gone to many different bridal shops around the Kansas City metro area and nothing has come close to Nolte’s. After shopping at Nolte’s I know that I would ultimately end up purchasing my gown through them. Nothing compared to the personalized and genuine customer service I received. At no time during my appointment did I feel pressured to by a gown that day. My consultant paid very close attention to every detail I was looking for and was able to show me beautiful gowns in my price point. Notle’s will go above and beyond to find you your perfect wedding gown, anything from ordering in a gown that they do not typically carry a sample of to contacting the designers directly if you wish to have any changes made to a gown. Nolte’s is by far the most caring bridal shop in the Kansas City metro area. I would recommend them to anyone.
