What mani/pedi??. If there was a rating less than 1 star I would select it.

Worst manicure/pedicure in my entire life! Plus it wasn't cheap at all! The finished manicure looked like I had been wearing it for about 1 week already! (I'm not sure if it was her eye sight or the product-perhaps both). You could see my entire nail around the polish color, it basically looked like she painted a dot on my nail and considered it painted. Plus what was painted there was bubbling from improperly filing my nails - the top of my nail was rough and patchy.

After I left the salon, later in the day (5 hrs later) I washed my hands and when I looked at my nails one nail color had just fallen off! What the heck - can that even happen!?? I ended up taking everything off and redoing it myself...heck I can do a better job and it's free!

Overall it was a complete waste of time and money (I could have bought a lovely new top for the price). I will never go back to Bijin Salon again and would never recommend.

Great Experience!. I had one of their Salt Scrub treatments and it was amazing! The girl who welcomed me in was very sweet and no one rushed me in or out. I could relax the whole time and take my time. I had Jennie and she was SO sweet and considerate! I loved her! I loved the whole experience and I can't wait to go back for a massage soon!

Best Massage ever. The spa was top notch.Everyone was very helpful from

the moment I arrived. Great relaxing area. Genevieve was great and I would highly reccomend her . Her suggestion of the Steam shower was a great ending to

a fantastic massage..



I am looking forward to a return visit soon...

Wonderful Experience. I've been a customer at Bijin for a few years now and I have to say it gets better with each visit. As you walk in the door you are engulfed by the soothing ambiance of a world class spa. As you slowly begin to take it all in you are greeted with smiles and refreshment. The haircut is always preceded by a head massage by a talented stylist who always seems to know just what you need. In my book that relaxation is worth the money right there, and I haven't even gotten to the haircut yet. As I have come to expect it is professional yet casual while always engaging these stylist manage to give a great haircut every time. I am constantly impressed with the service at Bijin and I suggest anyone and everyone go for a service I know you will be WOWed every time.

Love it here!. I just recently visited bijin for a highlights and a cut in the studio b. It's a less expensive option that is given which is great since times are a little tougher! The moment I walked in I was greeted by two of the girls who were really friendly. I was running a couple minutes behind which most salons would snub.. but they told me to not worry and to relax and even offered me something to drink (they even have wine and starbucks coffee!!) The service was sooo good and my hair looks great. I even got a head massage with my shampoo. Its great too becasue they have to cutest jewlery and hair products.. the girls at the front desk were so great and helpful. They have to be trained to know the products becasue they knew so much and I wanted to buy the whole salon!! I booked a massage for my boyfriend and he loved it! I will be going back and this will def be on my wish list for any special occasion

Best Salon and Spa in Kansas City. I have been a client of Bijin salon and Spa for over ten years. I am always treated with a warm welcome. I have seen multiple service providers and always receive consistently exceptional service every time. The massages and facials are worth every penny. The hair and nail services are phenomenal. The staff do a great job of listening to your needs. There is no other Spa in KC I would ever go to when I can go to Bijin.

Had to go back to New York to get my color fixed!. My experience here was one of the worst ever! I moved here from New York last year and this "spa" was highly recommended. What a joke! This is a pretentious salon with no talent to justify it. My color was a fortune, compared to the fabulous stylist I finally found (read my other reviews), and it was such a mess that I had to go back to New York to have my old stylist painstakingly correct it. Take the advice of other reviewers and simply avoid this place! Then, read my other reviews if you want the best!

front desk FAILURE. I want to start off by saying that its hard to find the perfect Massage Therapist. I have been searching for a while and found a great one at Bijin. Angela's gentle pressure was so soothing and relaxing. Its just what I needed after my knee surgeries. I was worried she would go too deep, but she took the time to assess my situation and use the kind of pressure I wanted. I wanted to rebook naturally. After my massage I had to deal with a horrible front desk experience. The snotty girl at the front couldnt get me out of there fast enough. I felt like a number. Sara and friends were just so stuck up as if I was the last person they wanted to deal with. I spent plenty of money. You would think the people taking the money would be thankful instead of put upon! I am considering taking my business elsewhere.

Not the same salon. Long time customer who can give a solid opinion. Bijin has never been the same since they moved from Main Street in Kansas City, MO. They have expanded more than once and prices just go up and service doesn't follow the price. The front desk is so annoying and they don't even recognize your name when you call or try to schedule an appointment. The owners need to realize there are many salons out there that cut and color just as well for less and better customer service. I haven't decided if I will ever go back after 14 years.

Awesome Salon, I Really Disagree with Some of the Other Reviews. I really disagree with all the negative reviews given to this salon. I think Bjiin is a great salon...better than that, exceptional. I am in no way prissy and was expecting, well, perhaps a stuck-up environment. Not so. Nobody there has been anything but extremely polite and friendly to me. Every time I go there I am greeted warmly and welcomed back. I have had both salon and spa services done there. I always get an awesome cut and color there...every time (Samantha). I honestly believe that nobody else in KC could do as good of a job with my hair. I also go there now and then for a massage to relieve my work stress (which I highly recommend) and it is such a great and relaxing experience. By 'experience' I really mean it is one. From the hot tea and relaxing environment to the steam shower afterwards, it could not be any more relaxing. I've been to many salons in KC and I am extremely happy with Bijin. You must give Bijin a shot.
