Great Grooming. I was in the store to buy dog food and found out that they do dog grooming also. I decided to try it and see how my shih tzu and poodle did. I was quite surprised at all the detail questions the groomer asked me. It was if she really wanted to get the look exactly the way I wanted, and she did. My dogs looked great and they seemed to have enjoyed the experience. The price was reasonable which helped. I will be bringing my dogs back. So if you are looking for a great groomer then Pet Stop is the place to go.…
FACTS. Pet Stop gives a TEN year warrenty with ALL puppies. They are NOT puppy mill puppies. All of the animals are very well taken care of. They have been in business since 1976, you dont stay in business that long if you dont take care of the animals. If anyone has ever had a problem with an animal they need to contact Pet Stop an they would take care of any problem. The owners of this store have closed down 29 puppy mills. FACT. Its a great store where kids can hold all the animals. Its the best store in the area.…
Very Sad Story. Today I got the Cutest Ginea pig from PetStop. I noticed that he had bumps all over him and he was bleeding very bad on his neck and I am very scared he is going to have to be put down. I recomend never buying pets from PetStop! Thank you for your time! Sorry! :)…
Good Selection... Do not buy their dogs.
I went to buy some dog food for my puppy (which I purchased from a real breeder). I like their selection of dog food and they run sales a lot. I am very turned off by all the puppies there were for
sale. The dogs looked very sad cooped up in their cages and many looked really "maingey".
I encourage everyone to NOT buy their dogs from Pet Stop because their dogs are from puppy mills. For the same price you can go and get a dog from a reputable breeder. The dog will be better bred and socialized.

The staff are very friendly and eager to help. They know their stuff and if you have questions they can answer them.
yes, RABBITS DO LAY sometimes like the one user described, ours does all the time. hes just resting. yes they sleep with their eyelids open or half open sometimes. they realy are closed but they have more than one set of eyelids that are see-thru... we have been fooled also but he pops back up every time. i agree they look annoyed that you disturbed them haha.
we actually got our rabbit from pet stop and have had no problems or issues with health or temperament. we have had him 2 years now and he thrived from the day we got him. he is a very happy bunny and i think it was beneficial for him to be handled in the store and petted by customers, as he has been ever so friendly. i even get followed around the house by our rabbit. The staff at pet stop helped us start out with rabbits and advised us on everything from cages to food and litter. we followed instruction and everything has been wonderful.
we also buy other rabbit supplies and dog supplies there frequently. yes please check the sell by dates, people! but i figure most of us do that everywhere.
the only thing i dont like is the puppies. i just dont like them sold in stores for a huge list of reasons. but i have to say, everytime we go there, the pups all are vigorous and healthy. they all appear very well cared for, are clean, they all have a blankie, toy, food and water.
and yes the monkey has a second home he goes to. hes always very happy. he never appears to be trying to escape, but seems he loves the humans and tries to chase them to play from within the cage. sweet little guy he is.
as for the smell.....its a PET STORE with live animals, what do you expect it to smell like? FLOWERS?? come on, animals are messy. the staff are constantly cleaning up after them but the critters are quick to make their mark once again. hehe...
a very good pet store i wish other pet stores were as friendly and caring (HINT HINT TO ANOTHER STORE IN MISSION).…
