A Mission Tradition. This member's only club has been a downtown tradition since the 30's or 40's and is the only KS licensed private club that I know of in the area. At only about 650 sq. ft. it has limited seating and has no kitchen. However, the atmosphere is unique and worth the $10 membership fee.

Located in the absolute heart of downtown Mission, this is an experience not to be missed.

"Drunks, derelicts and dirty old men welcome here." It says so on the wall of this dingy, neighborhood dive.. The Scene


It's a small place, so eavesdropping and learning a stranger's life story isn't just a fun activity, it's an unavoidable one. Strangers are tolerated, though the people unwinding in its wooden ambiance are a tough clique to crack. They like each other's company and upcoming get-togethers at the bar are announced on the specials board.



The Booze


Few bars serve Busch, but this one does so proudly. That beer even has the biggest sign out front. Of course, other beers, such as Budweiser, and mixed drinks are served as well, just minus the fanfare.



While You're There


A big game is always on the 52-inch television screen. There's also a dartboard and a couple of casino-theme video games. That, however, doesn't mean they work. Beer munchies can be sated with the frozen burritos, taquitos, pizzas, nuts and chips.
