Good flavors. I feel this place really accents the true flavors of Thai cooking. I especially like their spring rolls as they are the freshest in town (soft not chewy). The only set back is they only offer them on the weekends. I am not overly fond of the limited lunch menu so I prefer to dine with them in the evening. Try out something different as everything I have tried is good and flavorful.

Excellent authentic Thai cuisine. While many customers rave over the Pad Thai (rightfully so!) my personal favorites are the Massaman Duck (a southern Thai curry peanut sauce) and the Tom Kha Gai (coconut milk & chicken soup). Having visited Thailand many times, this is as close as it gets to real Thai food in Kansas City! Service can be a little slow when busy, just like in the home country, but the food is well worth the wait. If you're in a hurry, call for reservations or carry-out.

Best Experience Ever. After I read the article about this restaurant in KC Star and USA Today, it came to the point that I have to come and try some thai foods at this restaurant. I ordered chicken coconut soup as my starter, it was very tasty and creamy chicken soup with bell pepper and mushroom in it. Then, I tried chicken and shrimp Pad Thai Noodle as my entree, it was very delicious sweet&sour chewy soft thin rice noodle with nice combination of chicken and shrimp, and bean spout and scallion. Thai Iced Tea was superb, sweeten and creamy iced tea. I really enjoyed it. Overall, this restaurant provides an excellent food and service, this restaurant is an A+ in my favorite restaurant lists.

normal people. Thaiorchid is one of the hospitallity restaurant. The problem is there is over demand when the time is come. So, the customers sometime wait longer than it should be at lunch. By the way, the food is still so good. . However, Good food, Good price always come with the condition at Thaiorchid. GET PADTHAI#74 or PAD Praram#65 no wait!!!
