Best bagels in Kansas City. Let's face it...if you've ever set foot in a good "Jewish style" deli in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, L.A., Houston or even St. Louis...you know that Kansas City does NOT have particularly good bagels. But the ones at Jersey Shore at least pass a number of tests...texture...flavor variety...water bagels....firmness....etc. Actually I've had bagels from "good" bagel places in other cities that really weren't as good. So give them a try...I think you'll be sold.

If you can't face the "long trip" to Mission, you can also find them at Wild Oats and Whole Foods. Making bagels for others is probably their main business. But be forewarned...they cost more at the "outlets" and the flavor selection is not as good.
