Best sushi in KC. We have lived in Japan for three years and it's hard to find good Japanese food in the U.S.

We love Kobe Steakhouse. They get fresh seafood flown in every other day and you can taste the difference. The people are friendly and the prices reasonable.

It is the ONLY sushi bar we visit after trying several other ones.

FOOD POISONING!!! BEWARE. We ate here during the 12/26 and all of us were sick, sick, sick! We had to pull over on the way home as two of us could not make it home before being ill. Called them and the fellow that answered the phone told us the owner/manager was busy and hung up!!!!! We cannot honestly remember the food, only the horrible illness that followed! BEWARE!!!!

Ignore all the Hype. The atmosphere was nice which tricked me into thinking the food was going to be good too. The server said it would take a hour to process my sushi order which beats me because you dont even have to cook sushi! The steak was the best steak i have had in awhile but it doesnt change the fact that the food was over priced, when i can get the same thing at another restaurant at a lower price AND better taste.

Overall, wasnt impressed!

Good Sushi, Bad Steak House, Average Wait Staff. My roommate and I think of this place as a treat during the school year. This is always the place we return to. I must say that the Hibachi is less than great, but I would recommend going to the other side of the restaurant for the sushi. Everything is made in front of you and it is great every single time. Don't expect any crazy tricks on this side of the restaurant but do enjoy the food. The wait staff is a little slow, and if you expect to have your waitress actually talk to you, then I wouldn't go here. The steak house is extremely overpriced and not very authentic. Also, your portions are very stingy. All in all, it's a good place for a quick bite, but save your special occasions for something that's worth the price

Our favorite hibachi restaurant!. We've eaten at most of the hibachi restaurants in the Kansas City metro area, and this is the one we keep returning to. Excellent food, very tasty, and outstanding service. Prices are about on par with most hibachi restaurants. The cooks are talented and entertaining.
