Great service sub par food.
This was our go to place when we first moved to K.C. While it usually set us back $100+ or so, the food and view were well worth it. I can only guess a change of chefs was the cause of a new and lower standard. We have tried it occasionally since but are still dissapointed. Do yourselves a favor and go for drinks and view only. The service is good too!

Upscale hotel's comfortable rooms and modern business facilities appeal to both business and leisure travelers..
In Short
Soon after the first Hyatt hotel opened in Los Angeles in 1957, Hyatt hotels and resorts became known for their dramatic atrium lobbies and their ability to express local flavor. Rooms feature beds with Sealy brand mattresses and down comforters, flat-screen TVs with cable access, wireless Internet, iPod-adaptable alarm clock/radios, Starbucks coffee and Portico bath products. Travelers enjoy the convenience of hotel and airline check-in kiosks, fitness facilities, multiple business centers and ample meeting spaces.

Good Shower Pressure.
Pay the $10 upgrade to a room higher than the 9th floor, the view from the wide room windows was an experience in itself. Service treats you good, as most hyatts. We use their wonderful fitness club, upper floor pool and tenis, which is all free. Parking is not free after 3 hours, but you can stay in the Crown Center parking free on weekends! The location is the best of KC. Their walking links over the streets take you to Crown center and Union Station. Study the maps well if you are staying here for the Kemper arena. The city has no quick exit even though it is close. The rooms were basic but good with good shower but no free breakfast. The restaurants in the hotel are overpriced.

Unparalleled Service.
I was a guest at the Hyatt Regency Crown center while attending a confrence in Kansas City.
Overall, I have to commend the staff at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center for their excellent service and warm hospitality. The one problem we encountered was that the soap holder in the shower/bathtub came off the wall. The manager was quick to send an employee to fix it. A a bottle of fine wine and assorted cheeses was sent up to the room, to make amends...you dont find service like that every day.
