Rude and Nasty so stay away!. I bought a Groupon and had to reschedule my appointment for after the Groupon expired and Groupon assured me that they would honor it. When I walked in the door I was ambushed by the owner and another employee saying it was my fault and I would have to pay the difference of course they never mentioned this when I was on the phone with them to reschedule my appointment. They were RUDE and NASTY to me and did this in front of customers, they have no shame and no idea of what customer service is. I will never step foot in this shop again and I will tell all my friends to STAY AWAY from this shop. I am also filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!. I bought my girlfriend a giftcard to get a massage for her birthday and couldn’t get an appointment scheduled. After 6 days of trying the owner finally called me back and left me a voicemail to go online and schedule the appointment. When I tried to call back I got the same answering machine that I had received the previous couple of days. The first two days I tried there was no answering machine and the phone just rang. They will not refund any money for giftcards purchased. I filed a fraud claim with my bank.

Love these guys!. I Called these guys to schedule a spa retreat and they were booked. Mia went above and beyond to figure out something that worked for me and the price was great! (I had no problem with noise or rude service as mentioned in other reviews....) They get the full five stars b/c they provide a service in KC with little/no competition, and still they do a great job.

Best Massage Ever. Amazing Spa! The owner and employees of this spa were amazing. I was scheduled within a week for my 60 minute groupon massage appointment. My massage was very relaxing and calming. The massage therapist gave me the exact pressure and made me feel very comfortable. I scheduled my second appointment with them for another massage and other services. I can not say enough good things about Beauty Mi Amour, try it out and I promise you..you will keep coming back over and over again. I LOVE THIS SALON AND SPA!!!!

Excellent Massage. Can't say enough good things about Beauty Mi Amour! Love the friendly atmosphere and really love the services and massages. I have been there about 6 times, and have never been disappointed. Always look forward to my next visit. Keep up the great work!

Groupon Mani-pedi was excellent. Loved it! I had an excellent mani-pedi. I thought the staff was very friendly and the salon was very clean. I scheduled an appointment for a facial next week and would highly recommend them to everyone.

An Enjoyable Day at the Spa. An Enjoyable Day at the Spa. I recently went to this salon and spa after recieving a spa finder gift certificate. I choose to have my hair highlight, mani-pedi, and a hot stone massage. OMG,, I feel like a new woman. The staff was helpful from start to finish. The owner even prepared a gift bag for me as a suprise gift. It was my birthday and I guess she noticed after reading my check-in sheet. This location is busy. But they got me in with only 3 days notice. I will definately be returning to this place and referring. They take care of the customers. I agree with the previous review, this location is" Far from Creepy" and is like many other businesses in the heart of Mission Kansas. They have done a wonderful job update this commercial home. If you have ever been to the city of Mission you know that it is an older charming well established city and the businesses reflect the charm of the city. I personally have also experience the massage room which is more of relaxing than any massage room I have every experienced. Complete with candles, soothing music, and dim massage room lighting around the entire room. I will return, I will refer, and I say thank you to the ladies at Beauty Mi Amour for making my birthday a memorable one!

Beauty Mi Amour: a real headache! Watch out!. The owner, Mia, is a very freindly person while she gave me a hair cut, but be VERY careful if you get a massage from her massage person. I went there recently for a haircut, shave and a massage. After I got home, I developed the worst headache I have ever had, which my doctor believes was caused by too much pressure on the back and side of my neck during the massage. I asked for "medium" presssure and had to ask the massage person to lighten up and not apply so much pressure during the massage. This wasn't directly Mia's fault, but I was very dissapointed with her lack of concern for the pain and sufering caused by her massage person. In this type of business, it's all about customer satisfaction and word of mouth referrals. Well here is mine: VERY DISSAPOINTED!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!. The owner, Mia, actually made me cry on the phone she was SO incredible rude and condescending. I have never been treated that way as a client in my entire life. I'm traumatized that an owner of a salon can be so rude and inconsiderate to clients on the phone. I just moved to Kansas City and was hoping to find a great salon I could count on. Save yourself the wasted negative energy and don't go here!!!
