George Brett knows baseball but he sure doesn't know food. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that I ever would like to speak to again. George Brett should stick to baseball and avoid food. I ordered the filet that is served with a little butter on top. The plastic baggie that the butter came in was served on top of my steak. I unfortunately did not discover said plastic until about half way through my meal. It was a party of 4 and everyone's food was cold and all the steaks were overcooked. For example if you wanted medium rare you should order rare etc.
A posh sports bar devoted to the man himself..
In Short
It's hard to miss the theme of this venue: George Brett. Surrounded by contemporary accents--blonde wood, sage greens and darks reds--display cases hold memorabilia from Brett's 21-season career. The 1985 World Series trophy and his Evander Holyfield boxing gloves are among the highlights. Like a Hard Rock Cafe, the food here takes second seat--although it's good American fare of pizza, sandwiches and salads. Brett's is appealing to a wide demographic.
