The Scene
This is no honky-tonk dive with sawdust on the floor. Harry's kind of country is classic--Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard on the jukebox, and a few regulars sipping whiskey at the end of the long mahogany bar. The walls may be festooned with mug shots of the Man in Black and Dale Watson, but the customers are eclectic: Young urbanites and the over-40 crowd make their home here.
The Food
An elegant, spicy twist on comfort food: cheese grits flavored with garlic, chunks of blue crab in corn fritters, flanks of salmon in sweet barbecue sauce, city fried chicken smothered with gravy and poblano chilies. (The chili especially has a kick.) The peach cobbler is better than grandma used to make. Don't forget to indulge in the Yard Beer, one of Harry's particular charms: cans of Schlitz, Falstaff and PBR at $2 a can.

I love how everytime I walk in to Harry's Country Club I know that the guest's satisfaction is the #1 priority - the waitstaff does their best to help me pick out new items that I would like bsased on my usual "go to's" and always have something new and fun to try--- and the food and drinks are amazing!

Owner (Harry) is extremely RUDE! Several posters had my exact experience.....the Manager/Owner....Harry, is an unprofessional rude person that tries to start angry altercations with customers. If you complain about the food or being overcharged, this guy will say something about "I don't want to see you suffer", and maybe "you should be a consultant", then he actually threw a menu at us. His behavior was so bizarre, that my friends and I thought that maybe we had done something to deserve being talked to like animals. But apparently this is his normal behavior. This guy does not deserve $1 of anyone's money. Amazing that this place remains in business.

The outdoor patio makes a great summer stop. If it's cold though, you should look elsewhere if you have a big group, as the bar itself is pretty small. Great music selection on the jukebox, and the food is pretty good too.
