Great food and a fun place to go!.
My friend and I recently celebrated our birthdays at Kyoto. I had never been there before, but after hearing many positive comments from friends, I decided to give it a shot. They were extremely accommodating when booking the reservation and were flexible when we changed the number of people in our group. The service was absolutely fantastic. We actually arrived a little early and the table was already set up and available and we were seated right away. Throughout the meal, we were constantly being checked on, the orders were all correct, and everything was served in a timely manner.
The prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and the portion of food. We had Chicken Teriyaki & KC Strip Steak, sashimi, a couple of the special rolls, and a few different new appetizers. The quality of the sushi was very good and the rolls were fantastic. (And the sake martinis were great!)
Great food and a fun place to go! the atmosphere is perfect for a fun time of meeting with friends and family! Bring the kids, they'll get a kick out of the chef'f cooking and making "volcano's" in front of them!Everyone had a great time, and I'd go back to there in a second.
Oh my.... I want sushi right now!!!.
I 've never been fan of sushi. Me and a couple of colleagues went there for dinner and I tried sushi again for the second time. WOW!!! The spicy tuna roll made me ecstatic about sushi. :) Anyways... I've tried others as well in the KC areas. NO COMPARISONS!!! I'm looking forward to having a birthday dinner there this year. So Kyoto, please look forward to me and my hungry group in August, 2008. LOL!
Try it and you'll love it!!! See ya there!
Spicy Crab Salad. I am buisness associates eat here at least once a week sometimes alot more often. All of the food is great and the chefs are awesome. I had not had sushi before here and have tried other places since which have not even been close. Great place overall and my 3 year old daughter lves the place as well.
mmmmmmmmmmmmm Spicy Tuna roll!!!!!. Prices are good. Menu Selection has a wide variety. Sushi is amazing. Seating; Regular tables, Steak house (they cook in front of you), Sushi Bar, and Drink bar. Sushi chefs are polite and friendly. Portions are good sizes. Quality, value, ambiance, service, and food are consistently exceptional.
Sushi is great!!. I have lived in Japan for several years and loved sushi very much. I have tried sushi at a lot of places around here, but unfortunately they weren't good. I don't think the sushi chefs were professional. However, I finally found good sushi chef at Kyoto Japanese restaurant, who is Japanese guy named Scott. I really like his sushi a lot!
Excellent. My first sushi experience in KC was at Kyoto. Since then I've tried several other places in the area, but nothing compares. The teppenyaki chefs are entertaining and the sushi chefs are excellent. I'm a lifer.
