Are you kidding me?
by Christina Brewer
I actually had been billed for copayments that were not requested at the time of my hospital visit. I did in fact receive the bill but in the process of moving and being weighed down with life it was an oversight. I actually forgot about it, it was a measley $40.00 and I got a call the other day at my place of employment...ARE YOU KIDDING ME for a lousy $40.00 On a larger bill I would understand. I am taking care of this as we speak...how petty.

rude employees that hang up on you
by xxmadruenoxx
My dispute was over insurance issues that was coded wrong so my insurance failed to pay. When I contacted the Dr.s office, they said it was going to be resubmittted and "taken care of". They did not follow through, but instead sent it to these jokesters at KS counselors. After many phone calls and attempts, I was assured by all parties involved that this issue would be resolved and stupid me, took their word only to find out later when applying for credit cards that this issue kept reappearing. When I called KS Councelors, not only did they accuse me of not being who I said I was, but was treated very rudely by Maria and Dianne in the office. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was disconnected. Anytime after that I called for a manager, I was hung up on. I think I found the bottom of the barrel sleazebags.
- Pros: nothing complete idiots
- Cons: they probably are
KANSAS COUNSELORS BREAK FEDERAL LAW
by CStewert1951
KCI is trying to collect on debt discharged in bankruptcy 5 1/2 years ago. They also call without disclosing that the purpose of the call is of a business nature. They deliberately use intonations and language that sound as though they are a personal friend or acquaintance who urgently need to reach me.
- Pros: if enough people take legal action KCI might cease to exist
- Cons: They break the law
