HOW CAN WE GET AN APPOINTMENT?. How can we get an appointment? I've called several times trying to make an appointment and NO ONE will answer the phone. Me and my husband live in Oklahoma, so to make the long drive and have to take off work, we damn well better have an appointment lined up, but what pisses me off is that we CAN' T EVEN MAKE an appointment. I looked all over the net and theres absolutely no way to contact the consulate by email, nor is there a website that i can access for more information. So is there anyone that can let me know how to go about getting an appointment or telephone number where an actual live human being will pick up the phone. What do have to do? make an

appointment to make an appointment?

Typical Mexican way of work. This is worst than a third world country consulate. Apparently the way they work is by hiding and killing time. First, they never answer the phones for visas or travel questions. My girlfriend has a foreign passport and we wanted to know if she will need a visa for Mexico. After two weeks of calling, we got no answer. It makes you wonder why have a phone line there at all. So we made the drive to Kansas City from St. Louis and found the building. The person inside did NOT speak any English, could not say for sure if a visa was needed or not and kept hand gesturing to us to call the number. Ridiculous...We had to call the embassy in Washington DC to find more details. Apparently, she needed visa to visit Cancun, BUT we had to schedule an appointment with, guess who, the doomed Mexican Consulate in Kansas City. We just decided for Jamaica instead. What a great example of Mexican work ethics?!? This made me pay attention more and more to what Lou Dobbs has to say. It really makes you think about illegal immigration from Mexico and wonder how "good" is this type of work ethics for our country.

Mexican Consulate. The first time I visited the Mexican Consulate was in 2006 for a passport to visit Mexico City. Inside the building the lines were extremely long and the people that were working the window were absolutely rude and inconsiderate to the people with questions and or problems. When it was my turn at the window I asked the man behind the counter "what do I need to get a passport?" I was instructed to obtain 2 photos, and 2 copies of my birth certificate. When I returned with my papers I was told that I was missing a copy of my driver's license and one other piece of identification, even though I was NOT told to bring anything more. They are not instructing people to bring the correct information which then causes an inconvenince of having to return for a third time! Unfortunately I had to return to the Mexican Consulate today to renew my passport for the second time because the phone numbers listed on the internet are INCORRECT. Basically I encountered the same rude people and was treated badly and given the run around. There was an older gentleman there in front of me asking for help because he couldn't find what he was looking for in a little guide book. The lady behind the counter refused to help him and just kept telling him that the information was there he just needed to find it. That woman was FULLY capable of showing this poor old man where the info was but instead chose to be lazy and not help him, even though that is her job. There were not other people requesting her help either, she was just standing there with her arms folded doing NOTHING! I think that it is very sad that we come to this Mexican Consulate because we are not in our own country, we come for help and guidence and instead we are met with RUDE, LAZY, MISERABLE people that TRUELY do not give a damn about anything. I am proud of my country and terribly ashamed of the people and service that is provided through this Mexican Consulate. Contact me if anyone can do something about this.

Sofiya Milano. First when i called man who answered the phone he told me this number does not belong to the consulate of mexico, to confirm it i dialed 3 more times got same answer on this number number (816)472-3570, Then i dialed (816)556-0800 I am very dissapointed with their service, I was waiting for someone to answer the phone for 2hours and 5 minutes, no one answered and I was automatically disconected.

I am very frustrated with their poor quality of service. Some one needs to answer the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!
