Grizzle and fat!. bbq sauce is kind of sour, but not like a vinegar based sauce, just like sour kc style sauce

my ribs tasted like they were the cheapest cut available. there was grizzle and bone everywhere, as well as those small white bones. Gross!!!

Will NOT be going back!

Northland has a BBQ place, but an average one.. There's not a tremendous amount of northland BBQ options. Mama Jo's doesn't impress. I had the burnt ends and fries. The burnt ends were slathered in a thick and sweet BBQ sauce that tasted like generic stuff from a big jug. Nothing remarkable here. The burnt ends lacked a smokey flavor. The meat was tender, but devoid of flavor. It was unremarkable. My fries were large, restaurant pack, steak fries. They dumped them right out of a big bag. It would be nice to have homecut fries. Totally devoid of anything unique. Just filler. It was a decent price, but nothing special.
