Best thing is the banter between employees.
I've been to the Lees Summit WH a number of times. Seems like every time, the cooks and servers are having some kind of friction and going back and forth with sarcastic comments. Love it! They are hilarious. My wife and I make sure to sit at the counter if we can, just so we don't miss anything. The food is decent, but the pithy commentary is outstanding.

From pecan waffles to legendary hash browns, breakfast fare rules at this homey 24-hour chain restaurant--but don't miss the chili..
In Short
Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.
