Great Steak and Great Dessert.
The last 2 years that I have come to Kansas City I look forward to going to Hereford House. I did not go to this exact location but rather the one at 661 N Stoddard Ave, Kansas City, MO. Their steaks were perfectly done and could cut them with a fork. I love the Blue Cheese covered strip. I was not too impressed with any of their side item choices but then again I am also picky about what vegetables I like to eat. The last time I tried the scalloped potatoes and didn't care for them.
One of the best parts is the dessert. They have a white chocolate bread pudding that is to die for. It is not like any other bread pudding that I have seen and if you like white chocolate this is a must! And you can get it en flambe to make it even better.

My Favorite.
My husband and I love to dine at all of K.C.'s finest, but when we want to feel at home and know what kind of service and food we are going to get, we go to Hereford House. We are never disappointed. I LOVE their bread pudding. It is a must if you have room.

Cozy steakhouse warrants the reputation of serving the best steak in Kansas City since 1957..
The Scene
Feelings of familiarity and comfort will surround you during a nostalgic dining experience. Glowing flames in the gray and burgundy stone fireplace add extra serenity as well. With the dimmed lighting and peaceful atmosphere, it's the perfect place for a night of relaxation.
The Food
Steaks are broiled over a hickory charcoal fire, creating the signature aroma and exceptional flavor. Choose from a variety of cuts, but the juicy Kansas City Strip is what made this steakhouse prestigious. Remember to add a twice-baked potato on the side. The crunchy outer layer leads to a mashed inner goodness. Oven roasted cedar-planked salmon, a house favorite, is smothered in garlic herb butter along with fresh vegetables. Glazed in tangy pineapple salsa, the teriyaki chicken should enliven your tastebuds.
