Awesome Prime Rib. On a business trip, I had went to another place the day before for BBQ. I was told this place is awesome too, but just wasn't in mood for another night of BBQ. Seeing that they had Prime Rib, I decided to walk to this place and try it. Was not a mistake. The prime rib is hickory smoked and then they finish it off how you like it. It had great flavor and didn't need any horseradish or au jus, although the latter acompanied it. Their loaded baked potato was very good and I ordered their creamed corn that they are noted for. Was very very good.

Next time I'm in town, I plan to try their BBQ. The place is nice on the inside of an old brick building that houses three different types of food, including Lydias.

Worth Every Cent. I have been dining here for years, by far the best bbq ever! What is great is you don't have to like bbq, because they also serve Steaks, Seafood, and Salads that are incredible as well. Don't look past this place just because you don't like bbq, if you do like bbq, you are in the right place! Crown Prime Beef Ribs are out of this world!

tough ribs. This place was actually very nice in all respects, except the ribs were tough as boot leather. Maybe I caught them on a bad night. The sauce is excellent, buy a jar, you won't regret it. The service was great, everything was great, except like I said, the ribs were tough.

The Applebees of BBQ. If you want a good date experience, a place that will have clean booths - this is it. My friend used to work there and was encouraged to write positive reviews to on line sources. So I wonder what the public is really reading.

Last week when I went to get carryout it was cold. Cold side dishes, cold meat. Cold BBQ doesn't look so good.

The good news is that they staff didn't rudely yell at me in welcome (like Gates BBQ in KC) - but the bad news is that they didn't great me at all.... I had to hoof it back to the kitchen to find someone to help me. They were having some kind of server meeting and the servers were rolling their eyes - so it made me kind of wonder.

I'm just wondering,"what is the big deal about this place?"

Best BBQ place in the City maybe even State!. I have traveled all over the country in search of BBQ, and nobody does it better than Kansas City. Everytime I'm in K.C. I'm sure to eat at one of the Jack Stack locations. The environment is outstanding, as for BBQ it is an upscale BBQ place, with great food. The burnt ends are out of this world! You can order the BBQ online and get it anywhere in the states. Service is always top notch. Not only is the meat great, but the sides and the salads are as well. I would highly reccomend this restaurant to everybody.

Has positives and negatives. Jack Stack has some great things going for it. It is in a b-e-a-utiful building. This is the place to take that special someone, the business clients, or someone who loves good atmosphere. The BBQ is very good. I love the sides, especially the cheesy potatoes. The amount of food is decent. But it is not that cheap. If you want to eat BBQ in a very nice location and pretty good food, go here. If you want some more food for a little less, I would say pick Smokestack, LC's, or OK Joes.

the standard in world class bbq. There are many places to eat in the bbq of the world.And there is a best of the best.It is Fiorella's Jack Stack.The quality of the food is excellant,consistantly.The service is outstanding.consistantly.The steaks,and fresh fish are amazing on open fire,the beef,pork,lamb,chicken,all the way down to the sauce simply IS the standard for bbq world wide!

Greast food, great service, awesome building. Love the atmosphere...steaks are exceptional....barbecue superior....try the lamb ribs you won't be sorry....reasonable prices ...can handle a crowd which is good cause it's busy....enjoy.........

Jack Stack is The BEST. Beef or Pork Burnt Ends, Pork Spare Ribs, Baby Back Pork Ribs, Lamb Ribs, Hickory Pit Beans, Sausage, Fire-Roasted Salmon, Steaks, Extensive Drink Menu. I'm in heaven whenever I go for dinner with clients, friends, and family. There's absolutely no other barbecue restaurant for me, and I've sampled plenty over 30 years here in Kansas City. Jack Stack beats them all in food, service, and they even ship it to my family back in Alabama.
