Horrible Customer Service – I purchased a Groupon for weed treatments to my lawn from Pro Turf Lawn last summer. I used the Groupon in its entirety and a representative from Pro Truf called and asked if I wanted a winter treatment. I said no, because the previous treatments did not work. Unfortunately, they came out anyway and sprayed then invoiced me. I reluctantly paid the invoice and thought that would be the end of them. I was wrong. I received a call from them early winter and they asked if I wanted to get an early spring treatment. I immediately said no, and explained the difficulties I had with them before. I never heard back from them after that and to my surprise, I came home on Monday, April 2 and had a Pro Turf sign in my yard and an invoice at my door. I called and spoke with a representative (a woman) from Pro Turf today (April, 4) and she gave me an earful of excuses. She said that services automatically renew themselves from one year to the next. There are two things wrong with that. One, I never entered into or signed a contract that said that. Two, I've never had a spring or fall lawn treatment before, so how could those services "renew" themselves if I have never had those services previously. Another thing that really disturbed me was she said I received a mailer in December that listed out all the services I was to get for the next year. She asked if I received that, and I said no. She then said, well it was sent and since we never heard back from you regarding that mailer, we automatically signed you up for all services noted in the mailer. This is absolutely scandalous! I can't believe this company is still in business. When I told her I wasn't going to pay for this round of treatments, because this was their second mistake, she said I had to. I told her I was going to report her and her company to the BBB and she said I can do what I like and hung up. This is beyond poor customer service not to mention not legal!
Let me start by saying these guys do an awesome job on my yard. As somebody mentioned before me it took a lot of work but my yard has never looked better. When I moved into my home a few years ago the previous owner had really let the yard go. I took Pro Turf's advice and had them do some aerating and seeding the first year and it made a huge difference. The employees are really friendly and are very knowledgeable whenever I have questions. They also spray around the house for bugs, so I get all of the work I'd normally hire someone for from one place.
Thank you Pro Turf! – I started with Pro Turf in 1995 after having TrueGreen for a couple years, and man what a difference! After a year's worth of hard work it looked great. My lawn guy is always helpful and professional looking. If I ever need to talk to their front office they handle calls very efficiently and professionally also. Being able to access my account online is very helpful too. Their prices are very competitive.
Pro Turf Lawn Svc – The best service and the very best tech in the world. He is always polite and friendly. He does a very good job. Always covers all the areas that need his attention. When I want to make changes the office staff is friendly and takes care of me very quickly. I love the new web site. Awesome company!!!
Best Lawn Service Yet!!!!! – I have been a customer of Pro Turf Lawn Service for several years. I have been very happy with their service. The tech who services my lawn is very toughtful, and pays close attention to detail and is good at what he does. Their customer service is always prompt if ever I need anything. If I ever need to call their office, I am always greated in a very kind and friendly manner. I am listened to and my problems are solved quickly. They have many perks as a company, I have free service calls if I need them, I can also reach them by phone or on their website. and I love that I can now pay my bill online! Great job Pro Turf. I am one satisfied customer :)
Unauthorized service – Same story as the others, unauthorized service, threaten bill collection, rude, wont cancel service i dont have a contract for....
AND Lawn looks like crap!
Pro Turf Lawn Svc – I will keep this brief. Due to a poor economy, unemployment hit our household...not whining, just stating a fact. Lawn svc. rep showed up to make application. Explained situation, requested NO addt'l service can be afforded. Please cancel. Rep showed up a few weeks later, I was NOT home. Came home to an unauthorized addt'l application and a bill. I paid it after being THREATENED w/collections. Are times so tough that you cheat people to stay afloat? DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS!!! One star because there isn't anything less!
POOR and RUDE Customer Service – We had a similar story as far as being solicited over the phone, being intrigued and telling the salesperson we'd "think about it". Only to have them show up and treat our lawn. A month later, we get a call about grubs and I told them about our situation, and they FAILED to cancel the account (which THEY took upon themselves to create) at that time. THEN...they show up a few days later and treated again, sticking us with an $88 bill! So when I went to call them on it, they immediately got defensive when I told them there was a problem. The first woman I dealt with was extremely rude and beligerant, only for her to be out-done by her supervisor who was even MORE rude and obnoxious.
We have used Pro Turf for several years now. They are dependable, affordable, and professional. They always call prior to coming out and will come back out if there are trouble spots needing extra treatment. We will continue the relationship and have no plans of switching any time soon.
Horrible company!!!!! – I got a telemarketing phone call from this company expalining their service. I was intrigued about there price because it is almost less than doing it yourself. So i told them to send me literature so i could look it over. About a week later I return home from a business trip and there is a sign in my front yard telling me that my hard has been treated (which i did not authroize) as well as a bill on my front door. I go inside to review the bill, let me dogs out to go to the bathroom, and read over the documents that where left on my door. after about 10 minutes of reviewing the invoice, there is a knock at my door. It turned out to be my neighbor with both of my dogs. They left the gates open. So after doing a service that I did not sign up for, they left my gates open. So i called to dispute this service with manager, who apparently is extremely busy because i have never talked to him. I left message after message with these people about the charge and the invasion of my property. Then about a month later I come home from another business trip, and there is another sign in the yard. I took the same steps to resolve the matter with no luck. Then I decide I am not going to pay a $100 invoice that I didn't even want or authorize in the first. Now, I am recieving collection letters from an agency to collect the past due balance. More calls and unreturned messages insued. No resolve. So if this is the way that this company conducts business on a regular basis, they need a wake up call of how businesses are supposed to operate. DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!
