Great Place to eat Steak or Fish!. I really enjoyed my experience at the Bayleaf Cafe in Higginsville, Missouri. The Ribeye steak was Great! DELICIOUS! ... cut from the rib stack as you order so it is constantly fresh & cooked perfectly, it was juicey and tender enough to cut with a fork and flavor & seasoning was terrific! The cat fish fillets are very good and moist, cooked just about anyway you like. These fish are raised special so there is no dark line or strong taste! The cafe is under new ownership since 2008 and the new owner is man who cares about want his customers like. He introduced himself, very friendly and showed me his super clean kichen! the cafe is well managed. The waitress's are the nice caring people interested in you having a good experience, the service was great! We will be back with our friends when we go to pick apples and see the Tigers at MU!
