I recently moved to the Lee's Summit area and searched through this site to find recommended Salons. Planet Hair was one that kept on coming up so I gave it a try. I was really nervous about going to a new place, and was very nervous because I was planning on cutting 10 inches off of my hair. My stylist was Missy and she was so helpful. I brought pictures and she really sat down and understood what I wanted to do with my new look. During the hair cut she spent a lot of time making sure that it was perfect. Afterwards Missy explained how to style my hair and made sure that I had no questions. It was a great experience and I will defiently go back.
Pros: N/A
Cons: I called that day and got in that day! Hair cut was only $25, well worth it!

I have really liked this salon. Everyone looks great leaving-the best color I've had in years. I have noticed the high turnover. The owner seems nice, especially to her own clients. Most of the time I was there she was demanding of the other stylists and I didn't appreciate having to listen to her order people and yell to the back for someone-it just made the atmosphere not as fun. She just has a strong personality, but that probably contributes to the great salon that it is. I would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking.
Pros: great customer service, very polite receptionist, not intimidating in the least
Cons: high turnover-you kind of wonder why?
