I have been seeing Christopher for haircuts and color for over 3 years now. My husband bought a gift certificate for me as we just moved to the area and I was lucky enough to have Christopher cut my hair. He does an excellent job with my style. He listens to what you want and always cuts and styles my hair to keep me looking beautiful. He also does a great job with color too. He took my suggestions and turned my long boring brown hair into gorgeous caramel full healthy hair. He is also a genuinely nice guy who I love to catch up with every time I come in! The service from Christopher and everyone at the salon is excellent. When my mom moved up here she didn't have to ask twice or even at all before I highly recommended Double Take Salon. I would recommend the salon to anyone.

I have been going to Amber Sexton for haircuts on and off for about five years. She was recommended to me by a friend who has been seeing her for 7+ years. I moved to Lawrence for law school, and tried a couple different people around town before I ultimately decided to switch back to Amber. She is amazing with my hair---I have VERY thick hair that has kinky waves on the bottom but is straight on top and she handles it flawlessly. She makes my hair seems much thinner, lighter, and more manageable every time. The layers are beautifully blended, and she has helped me transition through having shorter hair, growing out my hair, and now growing out my bangs!

As an added bonus, she is really great at shampooing and styling, too! I look forward to it every time. She used to run a little bit behind on her appointments (because she is so precise I'm guessing!), but I have noticed that has improved drastically over the years.

Love Double Take Salon, my stylist Carli Cunningham is absolutely amazing!!! I went to her to get my hair done a couple days ago and I got the panel look, (I have blonde hair and I got dark brunette undernearth) and she also hightlighted and lowlighted AND cut my hair. I LOVE my hair, and I was so pleased with my hair service, I also encouraged my mom to get her hair highlighted and lowlighted & cut by her as well, and my mom LOVES her hair. I like going and seeing Carli, because she listens to what I want, and she gives me great advice on what to do with my hair, and what best compliments me too. Know that if I have any hair problems Carli will fix it for me too! Double Take Salon, has great staff and the other stylists are always so friendly as well too! I definitely encourage anyone to go there for any of their hair needs!

The long drive is worth it, Adrian Zaragoza does my difficult hair better than any others I have tried. I also enjoy the ambiance of the salon. Thanks, Marcia B

Amber takes care of all my waxing needs...she is amazing. it is always a relaxing experience. she always runs on time and does an incredible, thorough job. i would recommend her to anyone.

I am absolutely in LOVE with Double Take and Morgan Ellis!! She does amazing work and the atmosphere at the salon is great. I encourage anyone looking for a place to get your hair cut, or colored, facials, or a massage to call Double Take!

I am extremely happy with Abbie Fiddes. She has made amazing changes with my hair color that no other stylist ever suggested. A bonus..she is a wonderful person, too! I recommend Abbie to everyone without hesitation. The salon is a beautiful facility with a friendly staff.

Between suffering from allergy headaches and stress from work, I decided to try DT Salon's massage service. ABBIE F. is incredible! I get massages weekly and have left the Salon feeling wonderfully relaxed, de-stressed and literally my headaches are gone. In addition to that, I feel quite energized and ready to do house work - a welcomed surprise after a long day at work. As a single mom of two, I am very careful how I spend my money and this is very well worth the cost.
