Diversity at its BEST. I've been a handful of times now, each time featured a different band. Very eclectic, yet wonderfully familiar. If you cant have a good time at the Levee, then you just arent trying very hard. Staff is great, patrons are entertaining and fun! The dance floor gets hopping! Ages 20's to 60's are going to have a GREAT time. ENJOY and see you there!!

Great mixed crowd. This place is great, all ages, races and ethinicies combined with great live music make this an always desireable place to go.

LEEDAWG ON DA LEVEE. the levee is da spot ta go & hav fun. the hot wings r so good i get em every time im thr! the band on fri&sat nite is da best band in town! did i mention da drinks-they r great!

Nice. Seems like more of a younger crowd. Fun place, but definitely crowded. Live music is always good. Dance area is really small.

Best in KC. If you want great live music, fantastic service and a great time The Levee is the place to be. It is my all-time favorite bar in Kansas City. It is relaxed and casual and always a good time. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone.

Midtown Gem. Tremendous atmosphere, live music downstairs and Plasma TV's upstairs. Great place to watch a sporting event on High Definition Plasma big screens.

Local musicians are showcased in this boisterous destination that's been around for almost 50 years.. In Short
Bands performing only inches away from the surrounding tables and bar provide an extremely clamorous atmosphere. Those who don't arrive early may find themselves standing in the rosy luminous downstairs area, as seats are already completely occupied. Venture upstairs for a quick release from the jumble. On Fridays and Saturdays, two outdoor back patios are open as well. A well attentive bar staff presents prompt service and drinks.

One of my favorites... The Levee is, without a doubt, one of KC's best bars. There's great live music downstairs, a sports bar upstairs, several outdoor seating areas, and private party facilities next door.

I discovered The Levee a few years back, shortly after I moved to KC from Chicago. A co-worker and his fiance' held a very tasteful engagement party in The Levee's private party room. Late into the evening I wondered next door and discovered a hip, happening bar filled with generally upscale twenty and thirty somethings. That was about three years ago and I've been hooked ever since.

The bands are good, service is friendly, and the place is unpretentious. My family & friends from Chicago demand a visit when they are in town.

I think that The Levee is one of Kansas City's best-kept secrets. Look for their ads in the Pitch newspaper.

The KC experience. This place is oozing with terrific atmosphere. The live music has always been good. Sit back and enjoy or dance your ass off. If good conversation is what you are looking for, retreat to the upstairs. The Levee offers a great diverse crowd. Most patrons are 20 somethings, but the great music attracts all ages.
