In Short – When Granfalloon moved next door to its old location, it went upscale--and so did its patrons. Apparently, the old college crowd has graduated, replacing baseball caps with cell phones. But even though Granfalloon's new location is larger and fancier than its old space, it's just as packed as ever, proving that some things never change.
Great Service, Excellent Burgers
by Jamesn816
Went here for lunch today. Sat at the bar, bartender provided good service. Food was really really good. Decently priced ($8-9 a meal). Black and tan was good and so was the house merlot. Great place for lunch if you are down on the plaza. 2 meals and 3 drinks came out to $32. Definitely go here again if i find myself on the plaza for lunch again.
(burger was charbroiled perfectly and extra tasty)
- Pros: Excellent Hamburgers
- Cons: None
Rude Staff
by Darkbarfly
I agree with the comment about the staff being rude, on a recent visit my friends and I were asked how much we had to drink because we were laughing. On all our second drinks we wondered why we were asked out of an entire bar full of people laughing and cheering while watching basketball games. The waitress simply said it was her decision and if we didn't "behave," she'd toss us.
I will not be returning, but I already know plenty of people who don't go because it's outdated, packed, overpriced, and just full of the worse kind of people....including the staff.
Don't recommend it!

I have been here twice now and both times I was disappointed. The place is so crowded you can hardly move and the people are rude. Waited at the bar for 15 minutes to get a drink!
- Pros: People watching
- Cons: Parking, Bathroom Lines, Over Crowded
