When Arrowhead opened in 1972, it was hailed as one of America's most impressive football stadiums. Decades later, it still enjoys that acclaim. Over the years, Kansas City has poured millions of dollars into the stadium to expand its concession areas, and install new audio equipment and enormous video screens. Before any game, tailgating in the parking lot is a festive tradition.
